To do that, they needed a reliable technical solution that connected their Shopify store directly to the John Lewis back office — ensuring orders, stock and data flowed effortlessly between both systems.

What I Delivered
Working with Orelia, I project-managed and executed a custom Shopify integration with the John Lewis “Edge” platform, powered by Visualsoft. This allowed Orelia to sell directly via the John Lewis website, without needing to overhaul their existing Shopify setup.

Built and implemented a solution that links Shopify to the “Edge” platform used by John Lewis — all orders placed via John Lewis now feed straight into Shopify’s backend.
Inventory Syncing
Product inventory is controlled centrally from Shopify, ensuring real-time syncing and removing the need for manual stock updates.
